Mr. Himayat Ullah, has 42 years of experience in policy formulation, regulation, and operations with the Federal and Provincial Governments. He holds a Master's in Economics from the University of Peshawar and received training from renowned institutions like Harvard University and the University of Sussex. His diverse experience spans accounts, finance, and statutory audits, as well as the power sector, where he held key positions, including Secretary WAPDA, Additional Secretary Economic Affairs Division, and Member NEPRA. He has successfully negotiated significant agreements, such as the Afghanistan Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement and a $840 million loan with the World Bank.
